Junior Paleontology is a summer program hosted by the Cranbrook History Centre, made possible by funding from the East Kootenay Chamber of Mines and Canada Summer Jobs. It takes place at the museum every Saturday from July 11 to August 29. During each session, participants will explore the unique paleontology and geology of the East Kootenay, with fun, hands-on projects for kids to learn about evolution, the environment, and to discover fossils for themselves!
Junior Paleontology is fun for kids of many ages, with fun activities developed for 6-8 year olds in our 10:30-11:30 program and for 9-12 year olds in our 1:00-2:30 program. It promises to be a great learning and discovery experience.
