The Wasa Lake Triathlon weekend will begin on Saturday with the Sprint distance Triathlon and Duathlon events. Wasa Warriors will complete the Sprint leg on Saturday, Trikids Triathlon will follow at 11:30 am. Up to 200 young triathletes aged 4-15 will swim, bike & run appropriate distance races according to Triathlon BC requirements. All TriKids will get finish line food, a custom medal, brunch, race announcing, full course set-up, race insurance and Triathlon BC sanctioning.

On Sunday, the Standard distance events (Triathlon/Duathlon) start at 8:00am. No awards ceremony, medals for placing will be available for pick up on both days. Adults will enjoy finish line food, a post-race BBQ lunch, souvenir shirt and give-away prizes.

WASA WARRIORS will compete in both the Sprint and Standard triathlon. Register to earn your Wasa Shield (finisher’s medal specific to this challenge).

Race announcer Steve King will be on hand both days to call the play by play. This weekend of participating & racing is very popular with individuals and families of all ages & abilities, many take in the beautiful setting and camping that Wasa Lake Provincial Park offers.
