Fund established for injured miner

A gofundme account has been established for a Cranbrook man injured in an accident at Greenhills Mine near Elkford Jan. 25.

“Please help support Rob and his family during this difficult time. Rob was involved in a mining accident at work, where he was flown to Calgary by STARS and unfortunately due to the extent of his injuries they had to amputate his lower left leg. The doctors said it is going to be a long road ahead for him so if you could please find it in your heart to help them out during this time it would be greatly appreciated,” the fund introduction relates.
