Public washrooms now open in Canal Flats
The Village of Canal Flats this morning reported on social media that the new public washrooms at the Canal Flats park are now open.
The washrooms are on a timer and accessible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The washrooms are a part of the larger community pavilion project in Canal Flats, which will be completed later this spring with the addition of picnic tables, landscaping, electrical/lighting, and even a countertop area, the village said.
The project is funded by a Columbia Basin Trust Community Outdoor Revitalization Grant and the Canal Flats Community Society with project oversight and ownership by the Village of Canal Flats.
“Thanks to all who have given their time and efforts to make this project become a reality. A nice thing for the village,” the village Facebook message concluded.
