Edgewater resident Gerry Wilkie announced at the conclusion of the Sept. 7 Regional District of East Kootenay board of directors’ meeting that he intends to seek a fourth straight term as Electoral Area G Director.

“There are a number of issues and projects I’d like to complete,” Wilkie said, adding, “I’ve enjoyed very much working with people and helping people. I’m looking forward to the upcoming fray.”

Wilkie captured his third term via acclamation in 2014.
