A traditional downtown Invermere Christmas event returns on Saturday, Nov. 30 with Light Up launching holiday festivities to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

The event, running 2 to 8 p.m., includes a window decorating contest, Snowball and Gumball Drop, live music, fire pits, photos with Santa at the Columbia Valley Centre, a Light Up Santa Claus Parade and official lighting of the town lights and much more!

The Light Up parade will start at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena at 6 p.m. and end at Pothole Park for the official town lighting.
