Road closure to last to about Oct. 15
Road work in Invermere is causing a road closure, which began Sept. 5 and is expected to last until about Oct. 15.
Max Helmer Construction Ltd. has alerted the District of Invermere and residents of Canterbury Way, Canyon View Road, Westridge and Pineridge to be advised of a road closure on 14th St./Pineridge Dr. from the David Thompson Secondary School main entrance to and including the intersection of Pineridge Dr. and Westridge Drive.
The closure will occur approximately from September 5 to October 15 and is subject to change.
Access to DTSS will be unimpeded.
Accommodations will be made for local traffic or responding emergency services to access Canterbury Way and Canyon View Road.
Detour access to Pineridge and Westridge via 15th Ave.
