The District of Invermere will be Jet Rodding its sewer lines from April 26 to 30.

Jet rodding uses powerful, high pressure to force a blockages away. It is less time consuming than using draining rods, snakes and electric eels.

“This program is necessary to maintain the quality of the sewer system. It is recommended that you leave all toilet seats down during this operation. If you have had problems in the past during jet rodding, it is recommended that you place Saran Wrap over the toilet bowl,” the district noted on social media.

The district apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this operation.
