Valley Appreciation Day this Saturday
Valley Appreciation Day takes place in downtown Invermere this Saturday, July 20.
The annual family event doubles the weekly Invermere Farmers’ Market, creating a carnival atmosphere the whole family can enjoy.
Check out the free service club pancake breakfast thanks to the Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley, Invermere Rotary Club, Fairmont Lions Club, Invermere Lions Club, and Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The breakfast runs from 9 a.m.-noon on 13th Street.
The 32nd annual event, which began as ‘Visitor Appreciation Day, will again feature local musical entertainment on Home Hardware’s portable stage, along with the Gagne’s Logging Show, fundraising booths, kids’ fun and about 100 vendors spread out along Main Street (7th Avenue) and 13th Street.
