100 local kids to get Christmas Blessing Tote Bags
One month ago, four Cranbrook businesses combined efforts to provide a Christmas blessing to children and their families in the community.
The Choice, Bumble Tree, Pages Emporium, and Beautiful Moments worked together on an online event – Christmas Blessing in the Kootenays.
And as of today (Nov. 16), the team has reached its goal.
“The good news is that we reached our goal on Friday! We raised enough funds to provide 100 local kids with a Christmas Blessing Tote Bag, that will be personalized, wrapped, and filled with gifts from local businesses, The Choice, Bumble Tree, Pages Emporium, and Beautiful Moments,” reported Candace Stanley of Beautiful Moments.
“This online event has been amazing to see local businesses, local citizens, local church groups, local schools, local volunteers, and local organizations all come together to support our local community. The community can follow our FB online event as we will continue to post the progress of what’s happening to fill these bags, so the community can see what they supported,” she said.
