Brush fire knocked down by joint effort
Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services, BC Wildfire Service and ?aqam community members knocked down a grass/brush fire north of the St. Mary’s River late yesterday afternoon (March 29).
Crews worked hard to knock the fire down before it reached the homes in the area.
Mopping up the brush fire this morning (March 30).
“Thanks BCWS and Aqam for the support. Stay #firesmart, it’s dry out there,” CFES stated on social media.
