CDAC tops busy month with virtual AGM Sept. 28

This month has been an eventful one for the Cranbrook and District Arts Council (CDAC).

The construction on the 1401 Artspace Gallery continues.  Along with the construction, a mural project for the outside of 1401 has been started by LaVerna Peters and Yvonne Vigne (pictured right).

The Cranbrook and District Arts Council Annual General Meeting is being held on Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. but this time we will be hosting it via Zoom.

To learn more about CDAC’S exciting new ventures and to have your say about important matters regarding the organization and community, join this meeting.

Remember this is a membership-based organization and to vote at this meeting a membership is needed. Although anyone can attend as an observer.

To register, drop an email with  your name and email to [email protected] Attention: AGM at [email protected] .

There are openings for the board at this time and the AGM is a chance to put forward your name to stand for the board.

Board meetings are once a month. Cranbrook arts is open to new ideas and all that is required is a willingness to help our growing organization grow to its full potential. Please contact a current board member if you think you are qualified to become part of this exciting and dedicated team.

Cranbrook Arts is a non-profit service organization, here to serve our artists and to provide programming in the visual arts to our community. As a non-profit they could not run without the dedication of their volunteers, employees, and the valuable input of their members.
