Chalk Art Challenge in support of Legion #24

Salute the boots!

Calling all kids 14 years and younger – you are invited to participate in a Chalk Art Challenge!

Bring your creative talents and help to decorate a freshly paved parking lot with chalk art designs!

We have finger painting for the little ones; enter-to-win prizes by age category and goodie bags while they last. Bring the whole family and enjoy delicious Sam Steele burgers – flipped by Legion volunteers – with all proceeds going to our very own Cranbrook Royal Canadian Legion Branch no. 24.

So, for some family fun, register each child online at www.bridgeinteriors.com, then come to Bridge Interiors at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 – right after the Sam Steele Days Parade.

The first 100 participants will receive a free goodie bag and be entered to win a variety of different prizes donated by local businesses. In the event of rain, the event will be moved into the Bridge Interiors warehouse where the Chalk Challenge will still take place.

All chalk and paint supplies will be provided for free to all participants.

Thanks to the following businesses for working together to bring this imaginative event to Sam Steele Days: Bridge Interiors, Cranbrook Dodge, The Dollar Store and More, A&W, The Choice, Bumble Tree, Save On Foods, Rick’s Fine Meats, Dairy Queen, Kootenay ICE, High Country Outdoor Gear & Clothing and Cranbrook Paint & Moore, Black Press, B104, The Drive FM, B104, Summit FM & e-know.ca.
