Cranbrook Age Friendly kicks off recognition program

The Cranbrook Age Friendly Committee kicked off its Age Friendly Business Recognition program this month.

The first two recipients – Auntie Barbā€™s Bakery (2019 Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award – Age Friendly Business of the year) and Save-On Foods (2020 Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award – Age Friendly Business of the year) were presented with ā€œProud to be an Age Friendly Businessā€ decals for display in a prominent place.

The Committee is offering to assist any business who like to know how Age Friendly their business is. We would work with the businesses to assess their facilities and operation.

If you are a business owner that would like to take part and ensure your business is Age Friendly, please feel free to contact the Cranbrook Age Friendly Committee. We can be reached at 778-517-5448 or by email at [email protected].
