Cranbrook Chamber elects new leadership

2018/19 board to take the helm April 1

The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce held its annual general meeting and election of officers Wednesday, March 21 to a packed room as part of the monthly luncheon.

For the first time in memory ballots were cast to elect four directors to a two-year term.

“There was certainly a buzz in the room as the members were preparing to fill out their ballots. We have seven candidates vying for four positions,” said Chamber executive director David D. Hull.  “It was good to see the membership having a say in the make up of the board and not just an acclamation slate being presented.”
