Cranbrook RCMP Report

The following is a summary of calls reported to Cranbrook RCMP for the period between 12 a.m. April 15 to April 22, at 12 p.m.

Calls for Service: 165

Five impaired driving: Including one fail to comply with roadside sobriety testing; one 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition at Lake Koocanusa; and three 24-hour prohibitions (with two at Koocanusa).

Five collisions total: Including four in the city and one outside the city. That incident was at Koocanusa involving an ATV roll over with non life threatening injuries to both riders.

Nine driving complaints: Six in the city and three outside the city.

One assault: Domestic in nature.

14 thefts: including one shoplifting.

Four thefts of bicycles (one recovered by owner).

Five thefts from a motor vehicle.

Two break and enters; charges pending for one.

Three mischief to property.

Two drug seizures.

12 false alarms and false 911 calls.
