Cranbrook SAR respond to two black ice crashes

On December 3, at 7:45 a.m. Cranbrook Search and Rescue Highway Division was tasked out by BC Ambulance Service to a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 3/95, just south of Moyie. The single occupant of this vehicle hit black ice resulting in the accident. No injuries were reported.

On December 5 at 12:45 a.m., Cranbrook Search and Rescue Highway Division was tasked out by BC Ambulance Service to a single vehicle accident with a semi-trailer on Highway 3/95 north of Moyie.

The single occupant of the semi-trailer hit black ice and as a result landed in the ditch. No injuries were reported.
