Excellent turnout for Our Hometown for Hunger

There was an excellent turnout at Denham Ford in Cranbrook today during the annual Our Hometown for Hunger fundraising event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A variety of food trucks and local restaurants were on hand to offer their wares, while Barry Graham provided live music, while delicious aromas floated on the air.

The event raises funds for the East Kootenay Community Credit Union Endowment Fund, which is held by the Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies, benefitting the local Salvation Army food programs.

All donations made will be matched by Denham Ford and East Kootenay Community Credit Union up to $1,000 each.

The Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies will be providing more information when it is available.
