To increase the safety of visitors to Idlewild Lake and Park, the City of Cranbrook is installing a permanent chain link fence on the down slope side of the dam beginning on Wednesday, December 5.

While the installation is done, there will be some areas of the paved trail on either side of the dam that will be temporarily inaccessible to the public.

The city appreciates the patience and understanding of park users while this project is completed.
