Firefighters use fun to scare up charitable support

The fourth annual Cranbrook Firefighters’ Halloween Bash was held at the Columbo Lodge on Oct 22. All proceeds raised will go toward Muscular Dystrophy Canada and the British Columbia Professional Firefighters’ Burn Fund.

Thanks to everyone who came out and attended this event and supported these two great charities. Some great costumes were found all over the event and prizes were given to the best costumes and best couples costumes.

A great time was had by all; with thanks to Keon from Just Music who did a great job selecting the tunes for the dance floor.

Special thanks to North Star GM for once again sponsoring the event and providing a safe ride home for many who attended. Also special thanks to all of the local business owners/managers who donated prizes for the silent auction and the costume prizes.
