Good Samaritan’s stolen vehicle recovered

UPDATE: Cranbrook RCMP report this vehicle has been recovered.

Cranbrook RCMP is currently investigating after a Good Samaritan had his vehicle taken.

RCMP December 14 spoke with a male who advised that he had loaned out his truck to someone so they could move their effects to Lethbridge.

“The male was only supposed to have the vehicle for a couple of days. Three weeks later, our caller is still waiting for his truck to be returned. Calls to the person who “borrowed” the vehicle by the caller and police have gone unanswered,” reported Cst. Katie Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP.

The vehicle, bearing B.C. license plate number NC3171, is described as a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup truck, black in colour.

There may be damage to the rear window of the truck.

Anyone who sees this vehicle is asked to contact the RCMP at 250-489-3471 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be relayed via web or text-based tips with details on canadiancrimestoppers.org.
