Health Care Auxiliary Fashion Show a salute to seniors

Last week the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary held its annual Fashion Show & Silent Auction at the Heritage Inn, featuring dazzling outfits and items donated by the community to our Thrift Store in downtown Cranbrook.

Thanks go out to our community of donors as well as a huge thank you to our patrons who dug deep into their pockets to help us raise funds for our “Salute to Seniors” campaign to provide much needed equipment to both the East Kootenay Regional Hospital and the Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home.

We will be replacing the 20-year-old bus currently used by $125,000 on the bus and another $100,000 on other much needed equipment for this facility.

In addition we will be funding $173,000 on an Echo Cardio Ultrasound for the Medical Imaging Department, and $119,000 for a Phaco Emulsifier used for Cataract Surgery in the Ambulatory Care Department at the the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

The Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary would again like to thank all those in Cranbrook and the surrounding areas who bought tickets to our event “We Salute the patients of the Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home for hospital visits and outings.  We are spending approximately You”.

Very special thanks go to the following businesses and individuals for helping make our 2019 “Salute to Seniors” Fashion Show & Silent Auction fundraiser a great success.
