ICE retro night Nov. 29 versus Raiders

The Kootenay ICE is holding a Retro Night tomorrow – Wednesday, November 29.

The Western Hockey League ICE is hosting the Prince Albert Raiders that night with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.

The ICE will be wearing their old dark uniforms – last worn during the 2016-17 season. The game-worn jerseys will be part of an eight-day silent auction beginning at six p.m. on Wednesday, November 29 and ending at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 8. This is the last time these jerseys will be worn during a game.

If you are interested in making a bid you are encouraged to stop by the ICE Gear Store or call 250-417-0322. The winning bid for each game-worn jersey will be contacted via phone call. Jerseys must be paid for in full by Thursday, December 14.

The highest bidder of each game-worn jersey will have the option of getting it signed by the player whose jersey they bid on.

All proceeds from the silent auction will go towards the ICE Education Fund.

The ICE are currently in second place in the Central Division, seven points back of the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Raiders enter the contest in fifth place in the powerful East Division.
