Input sought in creation of Poverty Reduction Plan

The Community Social Planning Society is seeking public input to be included in a Poverty Reduction Plan.

The Union of British Columbia Municipalities, City of Cranbrook and Regional District of East Kootenay are partners in this provincially funded project.

The Poverty Reduction Plan initially included community engagement sessions to enable people in Cranbrook, Elk Valley and Columbia Valley to share their views and suggestions. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced us to change those plans.

In the coming weeks we will host virtual engagement sessions through ZOOM and will advertise the dates and times for each session.

In the meantime, we invite you to provide your input through a confidential survey available through this link.

If you wish to know more about the Poverty Reduction Plan, or have comments you’d like to share in addition to the survey you may do so through [email protected].
