Integra considers pull out from YXC

Low ridership is forcing Integra Air to reconsider flying in and out of Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC).

“It is with heavy hearts and with careful consideration, due to low load factors on the Calgary – Cranbrook, Cranbrook – Calgary flights, Integra Air will be watching passenger loads very carefully until August 31. If numbers do not increase substantially to prove sustainability of this route, Integra Air will unfortunately cease air service between Calgary and Cranbrook,” the company stated in a June 14 Facebook announcement.

“We believe that there is a market that this route appeals to, and Integra Air has done everything in our power to keep this affordable, reliable and convenient service available to the public,” the announcement concluded.
