Intersection closed for paving Wednesday
Paving work at the intersection of 7th Avenue South and 2nd Street South, will close the area to all traffic on Wednesday October 11, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Mackay Contracting is conducting the work to complete the paving required within this intersection, with the final paving of 2nd Street to be completed over the next couple weeks.
Drivers are asked to obey all signage and will need to find an alternate route around the intersection on Wednesday.
With the intersection closure, riders on BC Transit Route #7 will be impacted slightly, with buses travelling between 7th Avenue South and 11th Avenue South along 4th Street South during Wednesday’s closure.
The City of Cranbrook apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
