Kootenay ICE boost forward depth through trade

The Kootenay ICE yesterday bolstered their forward depth by adding an experienced forward via trade.

The ICE August 14 acquired 1998-born forward Jaeger White from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

“Jaeger will provide experience, skill and depth to our forward group,” said Matt Cockell, President and General Manager.

White played in 68 regular season games for the Medicine Hat Tigers during the 2017-18 season. In those 68 games, he recorded 10 goals and added 24 assists for 34 points. The Medicine Hat native added two goals and six points in six playoff games.

Throughout his three-year Western Hockey League career, White has potted 15 goals and added 39 assists for 54 points in 152 regular season games.

White was drafted by the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the fourth round (72nd overall) in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
