Open Garden Tour July 7
The much-awaited Open Garden Day Tour is near!
The 22nd annual Cranbrook Garden Club’s Open Garden Day Event boasts: Six gregarious gardens totalling over 100 years of tirelessness, experimentation, patience, artistry, tranquility, comfort and wisdom!
While immersed in vines, trees, vegetables and flowers of all kinds, next to features of ‘man’ made and nature given views, find joy, be inspired by, learn from these gardens and support local artisans and educators.
There will also be a Plant & Craft sale at 224-14th Ave North.
Break anytime for lunch with specials offered by a variety of local restaurants.
Super Special Evening Event: Award-winning media personality and garden consultant Donna Balzer will be speaking at the Heritage Inn Ballroom at 7 p.m. ($10 at the door for non ticket holders.)
Get your tickets early in the week of June 25 at Lotus Books, Trends & Treasures, Top Crop or the Cranbrook Farmers Market right up to the morning of the tour. Cant make it to all of the gardens? Viewing fee for single gardens $2 each.
This Saturday event makes possible the opportunity to enjoy five more gardens at Kimberley’s art & garden tour. See Centre 64’s website for more information.
