This is the 16th year for United Way’s ‘Park on Us’ fundraiser – a fun day with free parking compliments of the City of Cranbrook, United Way and sponsoring businesses. Last year $11,250 was realized and this year our goal is to increase sales by $5,000.

Seamus Damstrom, our event associate, has begun visits to local businesses asking for support in this popular event. Only with the generous support of businesses will this event be successful.

This is United Way’s biggest fundraiser each year and it is our hope that businesses will strive to support this event generously. A great way to support the work of community agencies keeping community strong through the United Way.

On Friday, September 14 the day starts off with free parking from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the downtown core. At the United Way office on Baker Street we will have morning coffee and snacks and other activities to be announced soon.
