The theme of Sam Steele Days 2016 is ‘Salute the Boots.’ Recently, Sam Steele spent some time various public servants and has submitted his report to show what he experienced in the day of a life of a Cranbrook Royal Canadian Legion No. 24 member.

I was fortunate enough to learn about the Royal Canadian Legion last year while visiting for Sam Steele Days 2015. These are my people. They get me. I was honoured to spend some time with them.
