St. Mary’s School raises funds for ‘Not Alone’ Campaign

St. Mary’s School, in partnership with Damien Vincent of Vincent Photography has raised $475 for the East Kootenay Foundation for Health, ‘Not Alone’ campaign.

The ‘Not Alone’ campaign is in support of Foundry East Kootenay a forthcoming wellness centre for youth between the ages of 12 to 24.

Foundry East Kootenay will provide walk-in mental health and substance use services including primary care, counselling, peer support, employment, and education resources. The centre will serve the entire Interior Health East Kootenay region with a population of more than 85,000 residents.

This funding contributes to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s goal of raising $1.4 million for the ‘Not Alone’ campaign to bring Foundry to the East Kootenay. To learn more about Foundry East Kootenay and the ‘Not Alone’ campaign, visit www.ekfh.ca/foundry-east-kootenay/.

St. Mary’s Catholic Independent School is a wonderful community in which to learn and grow. Students at our school develop academically, spiritually, and emotionally in an atmosphere that both challenges them and provides them with extensive leadership opportunities.

All children are welcome at St. Mary’s. We have an active school parent and family community, a before and after school program, daycare facility and summer programming.
