Tire round-up on Saturday
Tire Stewardship BC is holding a tire round up in Cranbrook this Saturday, August 25.
If you have old tires kicking around your property – this is your chance to get rid of them for FREE. On rim, off rim…no limit on the number you bring in.
The last time they held a round up in Kimberley in 2010, they collected over 3600 tires.
The round up is this Saturday, August 25, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Kal Tire in Cranbrook. The staff at Kal Tire are also going to take donations for the Food Bank, so bring your tires and a little something for the food bank.
The eco fees you pay when you purchase tires goes towards putting on events like this to collect old tires…please take as many of your old tires as possible in during the round up.
