Turkey Drive raises an amazing $50,391

The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce, thanks to the efforts of celebrity ‘little pluckers,’ staff, members and an abundantly generous city population, raised $50,391 during this year’s Turkey Drive.

Chamber members celebrated the boost to the coffers of the Cranbrook Food Bank and Salvation Army during the annual Christmas luncheon at the Heritage Inn and Conference Centre on Dec. 11.

Counting the funds raised this year, the chamber, under the guidance of Jason Wheeldon and Warren Bedell, has raised more than $500,000 to help local families during Christmas.
