Cranbrook Fire & Emergency Services had some special guests stop by the firehall last week.

Jax, his brother Xander and their mom stopped in to meet staff and Jen and Chelsea from East Kootenay Community Credit Union (EKCCU) also stopped by to make a donation to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

Off duty members came in and put on a barbecue for the family and guests to enjoy and then the boys got a special VIP tour of the station and trucks.

Staff at EKCCU raised $300 dollars and Cranbrook Firefighters Local 1253 also donated $500 to help support Jax in his recovery from a burn injury.
