Water utility customers can expect to experience some water discolouration periodically, as the City of Cranbrook resumes its annual water main flushing program today.

Flushing will generally happen between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday for the duration of the program.

Flushing will start this afternoon from Edgewood Drive to 7th Street South between 27A Avenue South and 29th Avenue South.

The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment in order to provide the best water quality possible to your home and business. The city will provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.
