Work impacting shopping centre access Monday
Access to Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart will be impacted this evening (July 19) for continuing work on the influent trunk main project.
Willowbrook Drive will be closed at Ridgeview Road starting at 7 p.m. Detours will be in place along Ridgeview Road, and there is also alternate access to the shopping centre via Theatre Road and McPhee Road.
“Work is being done overnight to minimize impact to local businesses and shoppers,” said Mike Matejka, Manager of Infrastructure, Planning, and Delivery with the City of Cranbrook.
While the closure is planned for Monday evening, the contractor hopes to have the road fully reopened by Tuesday morning, July 20.
