55+ Games office officially opened
A five-day long event featuring 2,700 participants and 1,100 volunteers needs a base of operations.
The Kimberley/Cranbrook 2018 55+ BC GamesĀ Host Society invited the public to its newly opened office June 6, officially launched the final leg to the start of the games Sept. 11.
The gathering featured words from Kootenay East MLA Tom Shypitka, City of Kimberley Mayor Don McCormick and updates from 55+ BC GamesĀ Host Society co-presidents Jaret Thompson and Sandy Zeznik.
The Games run September 11-15 at various venues in the Cranbrook and Kimberley.
The Games office is located at 110A Slater Road NW.
