The East Kootenay Volleyball Club (EKVC) is opening registration for volleyball athletes as of December 1. This is in accordance with the guidelines from Volleyball Alberta.

Age categories range from 13-year-olds to 18-year-olds and is open to athletes throughout the East Kootenay.

Registration is online and available from Dec. 1 to 15. There will be a late fee imposed starting on Dec. 16 so get your player registered early!

The club will be holding evaluations for certain age categories starting as early as Dec. 7.

Please check the East Kootenay Volleyball Club website  to find out where/when your child’s age group will be held and to register your child for evaluations.

After the registration and evaluations are completed we will be able to determine the number of teams and composition of teams.

Practice times/venues will be available by mid-January 2020.

EKVC teams compete against other volleyball clubs throughout Alberta and British Columbia culminating in a Provincial Championship and National Championship. The club is an important feeder system for colleges and universities both in Canada and the United States.

In addition, there are International and Olympic players from the East Kootenay Volleyball Club.
