Expanded support for employers and jobseekers

We recognize that many employers are struggling, and that this holiday season is not as joyful as the last. We have some good news!
WorkBC has rolled out changes to the Wage Subsidy Program to help reduce ongoing labour market challenges and better serve employers and jobseekers. The enhanced program expands eligibility, streamlines the application process and will help employers re-hire laid off employees or hire new ones. Employers can also apply to be matched with current WorkBC clients if they are struggling to find someone who meets their criteria.
