Friday Highways Report for the East Kootenay

Friday Highways Report for the East Kootenay is a snapshot to give the travelling public a glimpse of what they may be heading into or out of this weekend. This is the first report of this winter season.

Winter driving conditions prevail throughout the East Kootenay this Friday, Dec. 18. Environment Canada forecasts a good chance of rain or flurries for all areas of the East Kootenay for Friday.

US/Canada border remains closed. Travellers bound for Alaska must go through screening at one of 3 border crossings: Kingsgate, Abbotsford-Huntington or Osoyoos.
