Friday Highways Report for the East Kootenay
Friday Highways Report for the East Kootenay is a snapshot to give the travelling public a glimpse of what they may be heading into or out of this weekend, with information taken from DriveBC.
This Friday, Jan. 3, Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting Ltd.’s meteorological service is predicting a continuation of the same “pineapple express” coastal weather patterns we’ve seen over the past week. Heavier precipitation is expected in western parts of the East Kootenay. The freezing level is forecast to be slightly higher than before, so the precipitation may fall as rain in valleys and other low elevations, and snow at high elevations.
DriveBC’s highways conditions map carries the theme: winter driving conditions everywhere.
