While the coronavirus spreads, individuals, organizations and institution are finding a way to reach out and help others in the community.

Cranbrook and District Restorative Justice, East Kootenay Humanity Network, Mount Baker Secondary School (MBSS) and Street Angels (right)partnered to fill and distribute backpacks for individuals who are living on the street in our community.

Students in the MBSS Leadership Class (pictured above) held a Toonie Drive at the school to raise funds for this initiative. The partners are very grateful for the donations they received from the: Heritage Inn, College of the Rockies, Premier Mountain Dentistry and Dollar Tree.
