Invasive Weed Agriculture Symposium at Fort Steele

The 2019 Agricultural Learning Symposium on Invasive Weed Management, being held Nov. 21 at Fort Steele, incorporates a number of speakers and presentations into one event.

The symposium is intended to be an experiential learning event for folks in the agriculture community. Participants will hear from industry experts and learn about innovations, opportunities, and challenges that are emerging in this rapidly changing industry.

The gathering will also bring opportunities for networking with business in the industry and learning about current products and services available to folks in the East Kootenay.

Learn and network with industry experts at this interactive day for the agricultural community that includes speakers and presentations for invasive weed management including herbicide controls, ecological considerations, grazing and soil management.

The Learning Symposium, being staged by the East Kootenay Invasive Species Council, is an exciting opportunity for anyone in the agriculture industry including ranchers, market farmers, the public, government staff, industry and academics from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, to network and to share their knowledge and expertise about invasive species. Everyone is welcome.
