Kootenay Country Fair Sept. 8
The 42nd annual Kootenay Country Fair is running Sunday, Sept. 8 at Fort Steele Heritage Town starting at 9 a.m.
Enter exhibits to win the red ribbons and for the kids we even hand out cash prizes!
Besides the chance to show off all your best work, there are also lots of fun and exciting things to see and do at the fair. We have a petting zoo, kid’s games, commercial tables and much, much more.
Fort Steele also supplies its own unique time travel into the past with gold panning demonstrations, blacksmithing, plus many other exciting things to take you back to the days of the old west.
So not only do you get to take part in one of the best fairs in the area, you also have access to the entire Heritage Townsite and all the things that both the Fort and the Fair have to offer. We hope to see you there!
