Letter to the Editor

Hello. I wanted to tell you about a new association based out of Castlegar but serve the entire Kootenay area. It’s called the Kootenay Elk Hunting Association.

We are a registered non-profit society. We are new but growing quickly. We are a hunting, conservation and education group. We give back 100% of profits to wildlife conservation in the Kootenays region.

We have multiple fundraising campaigns. Our current project is we are working with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to focus on better wildlife highway crossing signage.
