Missing man may be in B.C. says Hinton RCMP

RCMP in Alberta continue to seek the public’s assistance in the disappearance of 40-year-old Robert Allen Wetsch.  Robert was last seen in Hinton on May 19, 2019.

Updated information indicated he may potentially be in British Columbia.

Hinton RCMP, along with Robert’s family, are requesting anyone who may have been in contact with him or have any knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.

His mother, Bonnie, pleads for any information: “It is not like him at all to have no contact, so he may not be in a proper state of mind to do so. If anything has happened to him, I just want to know any and all information. If anyone knows anything, please reach out so that I can know where my son is.”

Hinton RCMP are concerned for Robert’s well-being and have been unable to locate him despite extensive searches in the Hinton area with both air and ground coverage in June and November of 2019.

Robert Allen Wetsch is described as:
·                        Caucasian male;
·                        6′ tall;
·                        170 lbs;
·                        Brown hair;
·                        Hazel eyes.
The investigation is ongoing. If you have information on Robert Allen Wetsch, please contact Hinton RCMP at 780-865-5544, or local police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
