SAR Highway Division kept busy

On Monday, January 6 at 9:20 p.m., Cranbrook Search and Rescue Highway Division was tasked out by BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) to a single motor vehicle rollover near Lumberton.

The single occupant was able to self-extract from the vehicle. The Cranbrook SAR team secured the vehicle and cleared the scene.

On Tuesday January 7 at 1:20 p.m., Cranbrook Search and Rescue Highway Division was tasked out by BCAS to a single motor vehicle rollover near the city.

Upon arrival, a SUV was found approximately 50 feet down an embankment. Cranbrook SAR worked with BCAS to extract the single occupant from the vehicle. They were then taken to East Kootenay Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries.
