Upcoming RDEK Public Hearings
The following details upcoming Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) public hearings to be held on Zoom on Nov. 24 and 25.
Bylaw No. 3010 “Regional District of East Kootenay – Upper Columbia Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 900, 1990 – Amendment Bylaw No. 365, 2020 (Miscellaneous Amendments / RDEK)” will amend the text of the zoning bylaw to integrate regulatory changes that were previously made to other RDEK zoning bylaws during a round of housekeeping and to implement some regulatory changes to address OCP direction and current planning matters.

Bylaw No. 3014 “Regional District of East Kootenay – Electoral Area E Zoning and Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 2502, 2014 – Amendment Bylaw No. 27, 2020 (Meadowbrook / Twietmeyer)” will amend the text of the zoning bylaw to permit 2 dwellings on Lot 1, District Lot 9939, Kootenay District Plan 8316 including one principal dwelling and one manufactured home.

Bylaw No. 3013 “Regional District of East Kootenay – Electoral Area C South Zoning & Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 2913, 2020 – Amendment Bylaw No. 7, 2020 (Miscellaneous / RDEK)” which will correct one regulatory and two mapping errors resulting from the adoption of the Electoral Area C South Zoning Bylaw.
