In response to increasing demand for bylaw enforcement, and to best serve the needs of this community, the District of Elkford has hired Commissionaires B.C. to bring us a new, full-time bylaw officer to respond to concerns, complaints and offences in Elkford and to help educate the public on bylaw-related matters.

Say hello to Bylaw Enforcement Officer Leach.  She is homegrown here in the Elk Valley and brings over a decade of related experience to her role, including serving the RCMP.

We are excited that she has joined our team, and we encourage you to welcome her when you see her and treat her courteously while she serves the community.
