Attention motorists and pedestrians. A new four-way stop is currently being installed at the intersection of Alpine Way and Balmer Drive (the Lamplighter Pub intersection).

The need for this new four-way stop was identified in the District of Elkford’s paving project planning, and will increase safety for motorists, pedestrians, and students in the nearby school zones, the district noted on social media.

Look for signage and road markings alerting drivers to the new four-way stop.
